本研究針對五位持續性犯罪者進行深度訪談,資料分析採用現象學方式;資料分析結果:在成長歷程分為家庭因素,受訪者的家庭當中多數家庭功能不彰,這些包含父不詳,由祖母撫養、家人溺愛、家人期望高、父母無暇管教等;學校因素皆是在國中階段,在校表現不佳,而日益沈淪;同儕因素是物以類聚,及結交不良朋友而相互影響;對自我的評價上,並沒有正面的評價,只有負面的。在犯罪生涯上,受訪者在少年時期即有非行紀錄,多數以暴力犯罪及財產犯罪為主。在成年時期分為三個主題分別是決心改悔向上,受訪者覺得不想再荒唐下去及年紀大了想到未來等原因決心改悔,第二為改悔失敗因素,在改悔的過程中受到養成揮霍的習慣、朋友的影響、經濟上遭遇困難等因素促成他們持續步入犯罪的不歸路。最後為再度撩下去,此時他們正遭遇抉擇,因無一技之長、要做就要做最好的、經濟上的壓力、已經走錯一步,乾脆撩下去了等因素,加速了他們再度撩下去。在生活型態上,可以發現受訪者皆是經濟的來源必須依賴犯罪,貶低合法工作的價值、工作不固定、從事非法工作、及收支缺乏規劃。並且持續涉入的犯罪者必須持續犯罪以維持其賭博、吸毒、過奢侈生活的開銷。
To understand persistent offends' experience of family, school and peers, criminal career and life style, 5 offenders were interviewed. We can find: first, in their experience of family, their families were dysfunctional, including grandmother breed, parents' neglect, family members' high expectation, and so on. Second, in their experience of schooling, their performance showed poor school adjustment, especially in the junior high school period of time, moreover they dropped out. They were affected by peer group and failed to meet sundry personal and family obligations. They felt low self -esteem. In their criminal career, 5 interviewees have junior delinquency records, including violence and property crime. In the adult period of time, interviewees felt they were getting older and do not want to fool around all their life, so they decided to turn over renew leaf. They were failed because they were affected by their friends, difficult economics and were wasteful of their money.Finally, they were back to the criminal life. In their lifestyle reveals a blatant disregard for the laws, norms and mores of society. Consequently, authority conflict, a history of prior arrest, and school disciplinary problems are commonly found in the backgrounds of most life-style criminals. Moreover, their life was chaos, for example, nonsupport of a child, termination of formal education, quitting or being terminated form a job and unstable life.
