Investigating the Influence of High Speed Rail Noise on People's Perceptions and Health Based on Physiological Indices

另外,也利用SAM(Self-Assessment Manikin)情緒視覺化量表來紀錄受試者之主觀感受。

This study was to evaluate people's real-time physiological feedback responses when exposed to various levels of high speed rail noise. Thirty participants (20 for experiment group; 10 for control group) were recruited for an experiment with 4 levels (50dBA, 70 dBA, 75dBA, 80 dBA) of high speed rail noise stimulation and evaluated 5 physiological feedback responses, namely, respiration, blood volume pulse (BVP), electromyogram (EMG), finger temperature, and skin conductance. In addition, the self-assessment manikin and emotion visualization also used to evaluate the emotional responses. The results demonstrated that the sense of pleasure, nervousness, and annoyance all significantly changed when noise levels were elevated.
