叢枝菌根菌;無土介質;接種;相容性;菌根

Study of Compatibility on Inoculation of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi in Soilless Media

摘要


利用濾膜表面發芽法可簡單偵測叢枝菌根菌Gigaspora gigantean及Glomus mosseae孢子在無土介質中發芽情形。Gigaspora gigantea於無土介質上發芽迅速且菌絲較長,能於短期內形成較大的感染範圍;相對地Glomus mosseae孢子發芽啓始時問長,菌絲較短,需要較長時間才能形成小感染範圍,同時其發芽活力常伴隨其他真菌之生長而降低。這些結果顯示在無土介質中Glomus mosseae接種成功率比Gigaspora gigantea為低。而利用Gigaspora gigantea孢子在無土介質中進行接種則可順利感染番茄植株,然而相同的接種條件卻無法於百日草中形成大量菌根構造。這些相關實驗顯示影響菌根形成相容性頗有差異,至少受到了菌種,植物,介質,肥料等因子所控制。

Simple detection of spore germination of two arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, Gigaspora gigantean and Glomus mosseae, in soilless media was investigated by using Millipore surface germination method. Spores of Gigaspora gigantea germinated fast with longer hyphal length, that could form larger infection area in a short period of time. In contrast, spores of Glomus mosseae germinated much slower with shorter hyphal length, consequently smaller infection area could form only after a longer period. Besides, germination capacity of Glomus mosseae was often reduced by fungal contamination. These results suggested that inoculation of Glomus mosseae in soilless media was less compatible than that of Gigaspora gigantea. In similarly, inoculation of Gigaspora gigantea in a soilless mix was able to infect tomato easily, however only few colonization of zinnia was observed under the same inoculation condition. These experimental results showed that mycorrhizal formation in soilless mixes is less compatibity, at least facts including arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal species, host plant species, medium type and fertilization regime are all closely involved.
