應用海藻酸鈉強化白蝦抵抗白斑病毒感染之研究

Application of Sodium Alginate to Re-induce Immune Disease-resistant Ability on Litopenaeus vannamel after Infected by White Spot Syndrome Virus (WSSV)

摘要

This experiment was to test the P0 activity, O2, phagocytosis, clearance efficiency, and total count hemocytes (THC) in hemocytes of white shrimp, and was measured at the time intervals of 0, 1, 2, and 4 weeks after feeding on algal powders, sodium alginate (500 ppm, 1000 ppm, and 2000 ppm), and an ordinary diet for 30 days. The results showed that the P0 activity and 02 were significantly increased (P<0.05) after feeding with algal powders, and sodium alginate when compared with the control group. The results also showed that the immune disease-resistant ability of L. vannamei could be re-induced by injecting with white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) after the feeding treatments.
