飛輪有氧運動介入對某醫院代謝症候群員工健康促進之成效探討

A study on Effectiveness of the Spinning Exercise Intervention among Hospital Staffs with Metabolic Syndromes in a Medical Center

摘要


代謝症候群個案需要有飲食與運動的健康管理,而對於忙碌的醫療人員而言,執行自我健康管理卻是因難的。本研究目的在探討代謝症候群醫療人員在飛輪有氧健康促進課程介入後,其體適能與血液生化數值改善成效探討。本研究以某醫學中心代謝症候群員工為對象,介入飛輪有氧訓練課程包含營養與健康飲食教育。方法採用事前事後比較設計,前後各進行一次體適能檢測、體位及血液生化檢查,並以無母數統計進行分析。收案員工30人,完訓30人,其中三名工作者因個人因素未完成體適能後測。研究結果顯示在體適能:身體質量指數、骨骼肌重、體脂肪率、握力、一分鐘屈膝仰臥起坐、坐姿體前彎、背肌力與三分鐘登階均有顯著的改善。在血液生化檢查數值結果顯示:腰圍與高密度酯蛋白膽固醇,經介入後有顯著改善。本研究之結論:飛輪有氧課程對代謝症侯群危險因子有其改善效果,但整體而言,治療代謝症候群的首要與最好的方法是生活型態的改善。故未來的健康促進計畫應增加研究深度與廣度,若能加入飲食、運動習慣等相關因素來進一步研究介入代謝症候群,從根本因素來改善現況,一定能更完整、全方位的為員工健康把關。

Metabolic syndrome patients require health management such as diet control and exercises in their daily lives. However, it is difficult for busy medical staffs to perform proper health management by themselves. The purpose of this study is to explore whether there is a significant improvement in the physical fitness and blood biochemical values of medical staffs with metabolic syndrome after the intervention of a spinning exercise program. Hospital staffs with metabolic syndromes in a medical center were research subjects and an interventional spinning exercise program including diet consultation was practiced. The design of before and after comparison was used in this study. Physical fitness tests, blood biochemical and physical examinations were investigated before and after the program. Collected data were analyzed and compared with nonparametric statistics methods. 30 medical staffs were involved in the study and all cases completed training, however, three cases due to personal physical conditions did not complete the physical fitness test after the program. Results showed that there were significant differences in physical fitness indexes except reaction time. Body Mass Index, skeletal muscle weight, body fat percentage, back strength, grip strength, bent-knee sit-up in one minute, the sitting forward flexion, 3-min step test were significantly improved after the intervention. The results of blood biochemical examination showed that waist circumference and HDL cholesterol were significantly improved after intervention. Conclusion of this study: the spinning exercise have an effect on the improvement of metabolic syndrome risk factors, but overall, the first and best way to treat metabolic syndrome is lifestyle modification. Therefore, the future health promotion plan should increase the research depth and breadth. If you can add relevant factors such as diet and exercise habits to further study the intervention of metabolic syndrome, and improve the current situation from the root factors, it will definitely be more complete and comprehensive for the health of employees.
