彼拉提斯課程對大學生健康體適能之影響-以中興大學為例

The Impact of Pilates Course on the Health-Related Physical Fitness of College Students -Examples from Chung Hsing University

摘要


目的:本研究目的在探討利用彼拉提斯課程之介入對大學生健康體適能之相關影響。方法:以中興大學106至108學年度選修彼拉提斯課程共645位學生(包含男學生77人,平均年齡為19.98 ± 0.78歲,以及女學生568人,平均年齡為19.61 ± 0.68歲)為研究對象,上課時間為每週一次,一次100分鐘,體適能檢測訂於學期間第二週及第十五週實施,檢測項目共五項,分別為身體質量指數(BMI)、坐姿體前彎、一分鐘屈膝仰臥起坐、立定跳遠、女生800公尺及男生1600公尺跑走,檢測相關資料以相依樣本t檢定進行統計分析。結果:十二週的彼拉提斯課程使男、女學生在柔軟度上的表現與男學生的肌耐力表現達非常顯著之差異(p<0.001);而女學生在肌耐力的表現也是有幾近非常顯著之差異(p≦0.001)。結論:彼拉提斯的動作訓練能強化學生肌耐力和改善柔軟度,提供想增進健康適能的學生作為運動選擇之參考。

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to explore the relevant effects of the Pilates Course on the health-related physical fitness of college students. Method: A total of 739 students (including 77 male students at 19.98 ± 0.78 years old and 568 female students at 19.61 ± 0.68 years old ) who took the Pilates courses in the 106-108 academic year of Chung Hsing University were selected as the research objects. The course was held once a week, 100 minutes at a time. The physical fitness test was scheduled for the second and fifteenth weeks of the semester. Five items were tested: body mass index (BMI), sit and reach test, one-minute sit up test, standing long jump, 800-meter walk run for female students and 1600-meter walk run for male students. Test-related data are statistically analyzed based on dependent sample t test. Results: The 12-week Pilates course resulted in a very significant difference between male and female students in terms of flexibility, and male students in terms of muscular endurance performance (p<0.001). Also, the result of female students in terms of muscular endurance performance was significant (p≦0.001). Conclusion: The physical training of Pilates can strengthen students' muscular endurance and improve flexibility. Therefore Pilates can be a choice for students who want to improve their health-related physical fitness.
