Characterization and Leaching Behaviors of Heavy Metals in Sediments and its Potential Use as Construction Material

摘要


本研究應用pH對初始酸鹼添加之溶出影響等溶出行為試驗(pH-dependent test)、管柱試驗(向上流動滲濾試驗法percolation test)及毒性特性溶出程序(TCLP)驗證沉積物重金屬溶出特性。其次,探討添加不同比例之土地改良劑及水泥,與沉積物結合為試塊狀體,以抗壓強度試驗及桶槽溶出試驗(Tank leaching test)評估其資材化處理可行性。結果發現,28天後的抗壓強度最高可達376 kg/cm^2,且桶槽溶出試驗證明其重金屬溶出少,應可於工程上使用。

In this research, the basic characteristics of heavy metals in the harbor sediments were conducted by the pH-dependent leaching test, percolation test and toxicity characteristic leaching procedure (TCLP). The results of upon leaching tests revealed the leaching characteristics of raw sediment materials. Furthermore, the effectiveness of cement and binder (soil amelioration products) based treatment technology, in immobilizing heavy metals of sediments, was assessed by the compressive strength test and the tank leach test. The results of compressive strength measurements of the solidified matrix revealed a 376 kg/cm^2 under 28 days' curing. The results of tank leach test showed that heavy metals were immobilized by the matrix, with low-matrix leach ability, which imply that the matrix might be reused as construction material.
