This study focused on the energy-saving benefits of vehicle air conditioning systems with fully electric driven and controlled. Since it is about 97% energy used for transport of crude oil and petroleum products, of which road transport accounts for about 84%, in Taiwan. However, the currently testing of vehicle energy consumption data is on the test conditions without turning on the air conditioner. For this reason, the consumers, while driving the vehicles, were able to feel the differences between official and actual energy consumption data. This study discusses on the current vehicle air conditioning system with energy consumption of vehicle fuel economy and exhaust carbon emissions. On the contributions of the vehicle electrical air conditioner energy efficiency, as the analysis results show, driven by electro-controlled has a great effort in energy-saving and carbon emission reduction efficiency significantly.
