本研究旨在探討適合我國大學男性運動員的體脂肪百分比預測方法。以24名長榮大學男性橄欖球運動員為研究對象(年齡19.5 ± 2.24歲、身高176.12 ± 5.63公分、體重79.37 ± 9.7公斤),以Inbody 720身體組成分析儀測量受詴者體脂肪百分比,再分別透過七點式和兩種三點式皮脂厚度測量方法推估身體密度,最後以Siri和Brozek預測公式換算受詴者體脂肪百分比,以單因子變異數分析和皮爾森積差相關進行統計分析,比較並探索最適合的體脂肪百分比預測方式,顯著水準α = .05。統計結果顯示,以三點式2皮脂厚度測量結果,代入Siri與Brozek公式預測體脂肪百分比,與身體組成分析儀測量結果沒有差異,相關係數皆為r = .865。本研究結果證實,以三點式2皮脂厚度推估身體密度,代入Siri與Brozek公式,可有效預測我國大學男性橄欖球運動員的體脂肪百分比。本研究結果可作為教練及運動員監控或評估身體組成之參考。
The objective of this study was to develop a body fat percentage prediction method tailored to male university athletes in Taiwan. The study subjects comprised 24 male football players at Chang Jung Christian University (age: 19.5 ± 2.24 years; height: 176.12 ± 5.63 cm; weight: 79.37 ± 9.7 kg). The Inbody 720 Body Composition Analyzer was used to measure the body fat percentages of the subjects, following which body density was estimated using a seven-point method and two three-point methods for sebum thickness measurement. The Siri and Brozek equations were then used to predict body fat percentage. The results were subjected to a one-way ANOVA and a Pearson product moment correlation test to identify the most suitable prediction approach at a 0.05 level of significance. The results demonstrated that the second three-point method in conjunction with the Siri and Brozek equations was the most suitable approach, producing results that displayed no significant differences from the measurements of the body composition analyzer and correlation coefficients equaling r = 0.865. The achievements of this study provide reference to coaches and athletes for the monitoring or assessment of body compositions.
