本文主要是針對「證成」這一概念在知識論與宗教學的研究,具有不可忽視的決定性作用。雖然「證成」在涉及終極的探討與說明有著主導的決定作用,可是它也是最模糊不定的概念,因而在知識論上衍生出的四種主要學說之區分,皆由其關鍵的歧義造成。對於這四種不同的學說,我們先分別加以一一論述,然後再根據這些學說的型態來對映到有關宗教領域中涉及到神存在的證成問題。在進行說明的過程中,筆者嘗試以信念系列無線與有限的兩種假定作爲論述的主軸展開。首先提出證成這一概念,其次反省相關的各種知識理論,再來是檢視宗教上的有神論與無神論,最後則是本文的結語。
This paper discusses on the ambiguous but dominant concept of justification which is applied in the domain of epistemology. Because its determined function in the epistemology, there has some different theories about our knowledge. After analyzing the detailed distinction between theories of knowledge, then the discussing focus is put the justification on the studies of religion. By the different level of justification, there has a correspondent theoretical form, about the problem of theism and atheism, which is related theory of knowledge. And the conclusion of this paper is that all the disputed problems are caused, whatever epistemology or religious studies, by the justification.
