For developing or utilizing land purpose, human beings take advantages of Land slope to build breast walls in order to strive for level constructions and other related facilities. However, as the power of natural balance is being destroyed, an additional construction or make up solution is needed to aintain the balance, or our nature has to release the energy by causing disasters, such as land collapsing, sliding, and slanting, which will be continued until another balance is achieved. The research is to probe into the application of earth pressure theories, the potential influence factors both internal (φ, I, δ, θ, β)and external factors(earthquake and ground water), to investigate the relationship with the safety of retaining constructions. Moreover, the theories are brought up to see if under the circumstance of (β+θ>φ), problems are not solved with satisfaction, what will be the alternative. A mathematical calculation and speculation is performed to make the analyzed basic theories close to match perfectly and work functionally.
