Lymphadenoma was an uncommon benign neoplasm of salivary glands. There were rare published reports of the non-sebaceous subtype of lymphadenoma of the parotid gland in English literatures. We report a case of a 54-year-old man who suffered from a painless, mobile left parotid mass noted for several years, which became prominent and painful gradually. CT scan revealed an unilocular focal lesion in superior lobe of left parotid gland. Superficial parotidectomy was performed under the tentative diagnosis of pleomorphic adenoma. Post-operative course was uneventful. The final histopathological report showed as non-sebaceous type of lymphadenoma. Although the rarity of the tumor, it should be taken into consideration in the differential diagnosis of a solitary parotid mass.
