國內外圖文傳播相關系所大學部專業課程初探

A Tentative Study on the Professional Courses of Department of Graphic Communications at Domestic and Foreign

摘要


因著數位科技時代的來臨,印刷與出版領域逐漸朝著數位化的方向發展轉型,而為加速印刷出版行業的數位化,傳統印刷出版產業的人才培育也必須配合轉型。此時,學校的專業教育是否能夠跟隨時代進步、呼應業界現況,並培養符合產業需求之人才便是一大議題。因此本文以內容分析法,分析國內四所及國外五所學校圖文傳播相關科系之專業課程,檢視每所學校之發展之方向與特點。分析結果發現國內圖文傳播相關系所之發展方向普遍偏向影像、數位傳播或印刷出版,國外除中國兩所校系外,則是綜合專業科目之課程佔較大比重。最後本文將各校系所開設之課程內容對照文獻探討的產業及現況趨勢部分,顯示國內相關系所之課程大多能符合業界需求。

Owing to newadvances in technology, printing and publishing industry is getting more and more digital. At this point, we decided to find out whether the courses of graphic communicationsdepartment meet the trend of industry or not. We comparedfour related departments domestically, and five abroad. To analysis the professional courses of related departments, and to view the direction and characteristics of each department, content analysis method is used in thisresearch. And the results show that the development direction of domestic department is generally biased towards imaging, digital communication or printing and publishing. And in addition to two departments in China, the integrated professional courses of foreign department account for a larger proportion. Finally, most of the courses of domesticgraphic communicationsdepartment meet the trend of industry.
