Gingival recession is a common and annoying problem in clinical situation. Recession frequently disturbs patients because of sensitivity and esthetics. Many root coverage techniques have been widely applied in clinical practice. This is a case report of a 46 year-old female. She complained that she felt sensitive of her upper left premolars. The following case describes the use of a coronally advanced flap with subepithelial connective tissue graft for the treatment of gingival recession and dentin hypersensitivity. The treated site showed improvement of root coverage with reduction of dentin hypersensitivity without any probing defects or significant complication.
