A case of lower canine deep bony impaction, combined with odontoma and dentigerous cyst, was treated by orthodontic forced eruption. The incidence of lower canine impaction is 20 times less than upper canine impaction, and usually factors impeding it from eruption was removed, there'll be some spontaneous eruption. In this case after all the impeding factors were removed (space regaining, odontoma, dentigerous cyst and deciduous tooth removal), at 3 months of follow-up, showed some spontaneous eruption bringing the tooth to a more superficial position, but the axis seemed directing distally contacting adjacent root, therefore surgical exposure and forced eruption was carried out. Light force with closed traction technique was applied, and the impaction was successfully brought into position with good periodontium.
