A mobile dental implant at stage II surgery indicates failure of osseointegration. To remove a mobile implant and to place a new implant simultaneously or separately is the usual treatment method. This report will describe four patients who were treated using an alternative therapy, in which a mobile implant was able to be reinserted deeper into the original implant site until stability was regained, then follow-up for several months. All successfully osseointegrated implant-supported prostheses function well as of this report.
