Purpose: In this study, students of a swimming course in a college were used as the research object. Multimedia videos were used to intervene in the bilingual multimedia teaching materials of the "Butterfly Skills Course", and the butterfly performance evaluation form and records were analyzed. Efficiency of student butterfly performance, evaluating the effectiveness of bilingual multimedia teaching materials for swimming lessons to provide the most effective teaching of swimming skills. Methods: A total of 81 students participated in the course. The self-compiled bilingual e-book was provided to the students to download and watch on the school's online teaching platform, and used The mixed teaching mode was tested, and bilingual butterfly technical handouts and audiovisual materials were built before the course, quantitative data were collected through the "Bilingual Learning Outcome Questionnaire" and "Butterfly Movement Skill Evaluation Form", and the "Student Swimming Experience" was compiled at the end of the semester Collect qualitative data. Results: This study found that the passing of the 50m butterfly after bilingual multimedia teaching materials increased from 12.3% to 65.4%; the score of the butterfly stroke observation record sheet increased from 63.7 ± 8.5 to 81.6 ± 5.6 points at the end of the semester; the butterfly stroke index increased from 1.26 ± 0.36 to 1.45 ± 0.33 points at the end of the semester. Conclusion: Bilingual e-books can help students improve their butterfly learning effectiveness and can effectively improve students' understanding of professional terms. In the future, bilingual courses may help learning efficiency.
