臺灣地區學校體育班制度初探

A Preliminary Study of Athletic Class in Taiwan

摘要


建全優秀運動人才培育體制已成為臺灣提升競技運動實力之重要目標,也是學校體育班成立宗旨之一。體育班設立目的係希望甄選運動資優學生,接受運動訓練規劃的特殊班級,使其充分發揮潛能,以期未來擔任國家運動選手、運動教練、職業運動員外,亦能充份利用其經歷從事相關事業進而發展體育運動。現行的體育班制度卻因社會結構大幅變化加之現行政策並無適切配套措施,導致就讀體育班學生對於末來發展充滿不確定性。另一方面,由於政策制度的不完善使得體育班成立宗旨之一:提升競技運動實力之成長幅度不如鄰近各國。本研究採用文獻分析法試圖探究臺灣地區學校體育班制度在培育臺灣運動選手中所扮演之角色與功能,另外也將分析現行體育班制度對於運動選手未來生涯發展之影響。研究結果發現,體育班制度由於將具優秀競技運動能力或未來發展潛力者進行集中管理,因此課業學習及技術強化等得以取得整體發展之最大效益,故以培育臺灣優秀運動選手而言,體育班制度在選手訓練過程中,維持學業成績及訓練成果兩者平衡裡著實發揮著重要的功能。然而另一方面,由於投入資源過於分散、學生選手績效考核制度未健全及社會資源未能有效導入等因素,使得現行體育班制度對於運動選手規畫其未來生涯發展時提供之助益不如預期。

Over the years, establishing a comprehensive athletic training system has served the purpose to enhance athletic competitiveness in Taiwan. Similarly, as a special program, the athletic class is created to get outstanding athletes and train them to be professional athletes (in both national and professional teams), coaches, as well as workers at sport related fields. However, due to the transformation of the social structure and the insufficiency of the current policy, there is much uncertainty lay in the future for the students in the athletic class. In other words, it is the defects mentioned above failed the purpose to enhance athletic competitiveness in Taiwan. This research uses literature analysis to resolve the function and the effect of the athletic class in terms of training professional athletes and future career. The research shows that athletic class strengthens both academic and athletic perspectives by gathering all the potential athletes. Nevertheless, the incomprehensive evaluation system and the belated unorganized social and other resources resulted in the failure to meet the expectation.
