全國各級學校民俗體育競賽陀螺團隊參賽情形之研究

The study of the participation of school spinning-top teams in the folk sports game in Taiwan

摘要


陀螺歷經不同時期的發展,從童玩遊戲到民俗體育競賽,其活動形式已然不同,逐漸形構成當今樣貌。教育部全國民俗體育競賽於102學年度起舉辦陀螺競賽,迄今已有十年。本研究旨在分析全國各級學校民俗體育競賽陀螺團隊參賽之情形,採文件分析法及訪談法進行資料蒐集及分析。經分析規則演進與陀螺團隊參與情形,分別帶出陀螺團隊組訓、團隊銜續、參賽動機等問題,再透過訪談進行深究。由訪談發現各校投入競賽組訓情形不同,分別透過社團活動、校本課程、晨間自修、下課時間、午休時間、週六集訓等時段進行教學與組訓。檢視各隊發展狀態與訓練計畫,會以循序漸進方式推動。團隊銜續部分可分為校方主導、校方協助兩類,學制越往上,校方主導的情形則越少,顯現陀螺被視為學校競技運動的延續性動能有漸弱之情形。參賽動機方面,此競賽具升學加分效益、提供學生參賽機會,校方願意支持、教練用心推廣等力量推動下,陀螺團隊得以投入競賽。陀螺活動競技運動樣態已然發展出異於傳統身體活動的運作形式,後續研究應可延伸至其它相關民俗體育項目,以探索前現代身體活動在現代運動競技思維下的發展過程。

The spinning-top had evolved over time, from a children's game to a folk sports game, and its activities had taken on different forms, gradually shaping into its current form. The folk sports game for schools at all levels in Taiwan started the spinning-top game in 2013, and it had been in progress for a decade. The purpose of this study was to investigate the participation of the schools spinning-top teams in the folk sports game in Taiwan. The textual analysis method and interview method were used in the study. The analysis of the evolution of the rules and the participation of the spinning-top teams brought out the issues of the spinning-top team formation training, team articulation, and motivation of participation. And then the interview method was used to probe the further research. From the interviews, it was found that each school was involved in the game training in different ways, teaching and training through club activities, school-based curriculum, morning self-study, after-school hours, lunch break, and Saturday training sessions. Each team's development status and training plan would be reviewed and promoted in a gradual manner. Teams could be divided into two categories: school-led and school-assisted. The higher the level of educational system, the less school-led was the case, which showed that the spinning-top was regarded as a school sport with diminishing motivation for continuity. The motivation of the competition was to has the benefit of extra credit for enrollment, to provide students with the opportunity to participate in the competition, and to be promoted by the willingness of the school administration and the dedication of the coaches. The spinning-top game had developed a unique form of operation which was different with traditional physical activities. And the future research should be extended to other folk sports to explore the process of development of the pre-modern physical activities to modern sports under the competitive thought of modern sport.
