The Analysis of Change of Sustainable Attention Behavior to a Young Child with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder during Clay Activity

This study was to understand the sustainable attention behavior of a child with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder after clay activity. The method of this study was none-baseline design of single subject research, and researcher proceed three months, twice a week and 15 to 20 minutes of group of clay activity, and three weeks of observation at the end of activity. The instruments of ”Record table of sustainable attention behavior” and ”Event sample record of sustainable attention behavior” were used to collect data. Data was analyzed by time series C statistics and observation. The results were: 1 .Quantitative data indicated that the subject’s sustainable attention behavior had improved before and after activity. 2. Observation data showed the subject's sustainable attention behavior had been changed but not for a long time after activity. Also, the subject’s sustainable attention behavior had been affected by other reasons, such as self or outside environment.
