摘要

臺灣社會面對年年下降的出生人口數，政府部門陸續推出福利政策，期望能夠提高出生率，以降低少子化對社會與經濟的衝擊。本研究從不同角度來研究托嬰中心，期能完成三項研究目的：探究托嬰中心經營的動機、瞭解托嬰中心經營者在經營中心過程中所面臨的困境、最後藉由研究成果的提出以提供政府、業者及研究者建議。爲了達成上述研究目的，本研究採用訪談法，藉由面對面訪談8位托嬰中心經營者過程深入瞭解經營者的想法及經驗，藉以蒐集研究所需資料。最後，提出本研究之結論爲：托嬰中心經營動力以經濟利益考量爲主、居家保母轉型托嬰中心缺乏經營規畫、法規規範提高托嬰中心經營的難度。最後，則結合文獻探討及研究結果，提出對托嬰中心、政府公部門與研究者的建議。

There are three purposes of this study. First, it is to investigate what motives infant day care centers have. Second, it is to explore managers' perception about management difficulties in infant day care centers. Third, it is to give some suggestions to the government, managers, and researchers. Taking a qualitative research approach, this study interviewed 8 managers in infant day care centers. The author used an interview, face to face, to collect data. The major findings are as following: First, it is the most important for infant day care centers to make a profit. Second, the managers of infant day care centers need better methods of management. Third, the rules of laws raise the management difficulties of infant day care centers. Finally, the author combined literature review and research result to give some suggestions to infant day care centers, researchers, and the government.
