摘要

寬尺寸噴墨印表機依功能特性區分為數個模組：Media Loading/Take-up System、Media Handling Mechanism、Printing Module、Carriage Module、Ink Supply System 以及Service Station等，此商品化設計針對列印尺寸寬度36”~54”、解析度600×600dPi、Draft Mode下列印速度90ft^2/hr，CMYK4colors列印之要求，以應用現有HP800 series噴墨頭，各模組針對其主要功能如Line feed精度、Printing Module servo control、cartridge定位、Media auto take-up及Auto ink supply等，蒐集文獻及參考市售商品之技術特點設計出一部可商品化之寬尺寸彩色噴墨印表機雛型機。本研究計畫已實際建立一寬尺寸彩色噴墨印表機之雛型機，依實際機台之驗證測試結果，對上述主要功能已達成，並將可靠度及量產技術部分加入設計參數中，期能達到商品化的目的，俾以提升台灣寬尺寸噴墨列印數位輸出產業之技術。

The large format printer can be composed of several main modules, including Media Loading/Take-up System, Media Handling Mechanism, Printing Module, Carriage Module, Ink Supply System and Service Station; The specifications for the LFP design are the print width of 36”~54”, print resolution of 600×600 dpi, print speed of 90ft^2/hr in draft mode, CMYK 4 colors print demands, together with HP 800 series print heads. Meanwhile, the key points of the design for each module may comprise Line feed accuracy, Printing Module servo control, Cartridge registration, Media auto take-up and Auto ink supply. This research project has already achieved such a goal of building a true large format print robot, some fundamental tests are eventually done to meet the need of the design. It's truly expected that this technology achievement can help upgrade the digital printing technology in near future of Taiwan.
