摘要


摻鉻釔鋁石榴石(Cr(上標 4+): YAG)可產生很強的近紅外光自發輻射光源,其範圍剛好涵蓋整個無水光纖低損耗窗口之波段,如此寬頻的特性將可提供多波段元件製造商前所未有的方便性、彈性及簡易性。在本篇文章,我們介紹以共同提拉雷射加熱基座生長法生長之雙纖衣Cr(上標 4+): YAG晶體光纖,研製超頻寬自發輻射放大光源和光放大器。

Cr(superscript 4+) doped YAG has a strong spontaneous emission that just covers the low-loss window of low-water-peak optical fiber. Such wideband characteristics offer unprecedented one-for-all convenience, flexibility, and simplicity to multi-band component manufacturers. In this article, we described a double-clad Cr(superscript 4+) YAG crystal fiber made by a codrawing laser-heated pedestal growth method for the applications in super-wideband amplified spontaneous emission and optical fiber amplifier.
