台灣大專校院日語課程與學習目的、職場使用之探討-以日本語文學系、應用日語學系與觀光餐旅系為例

摘要


國際地球村的形成及近年來政府大力推展觀光產業,台灣的外語學習除了英語,日語的學習人數一直攀升,成為最重要的第二外語,日語學習人口比例為93.4人中有1人學習日語,僅次於韓國及澳洲,排名世界第三位。本論文擬以我國一般大學之「日本語文系」及技職校院之「應用日語系」、「觀光餐旅系」為研究對象,分析其日語課程與學生之學習目的,及未來職場之實用性間是否有落差。按我國大學生及技職校院學生學習日語主要的兩大目的為「求職」和「興趣」,然現今國內大學及技職校院等高等教育機構所開設的日語相關課程、教學師資和所提供的學習環境等,是否真能幫助學生達到學習目的或學習成效能否滿足職場之需求,本研究擬對上述之問題提出討論並提出改善對策,期能供作日後相關日語教育之參考。

The Japanese language has become the second most important foreign language in Taiwan, due to the formulation of global village and the prosperousness of the tourism industry, which consequently increase the learning population of the language. Nowadays the proportion reaches 93.4:1, which is on the third place in the world next to Korea and Australia. This article is intending to focus on the Japanese language curriculums provided in the Department of Japanese Language in the universities and the Department of Applied Japanese Language and the Faculties of Tourism and Catering-Hotel Services in the poly-technique institutes. The context will be analyzing the content and objectives of the learning, and its discrepancy with the practical aspects. The destined objectives of the Japanese language curriculum provided in these higher education institutions are both for vocation and personal interests, which however casts certain doubt over their capability in providing adequate programs and teaching capacity in terms of the implementation of the above mentioned objectives. A discussion with reference and some suggestions will therefore be provided herewith the note so to assist the further improvement of the curriculum.
