Many researches show that summarization is a basic ability for understanding articles and is absolutely a prerequisite for learning. Despite of much effort to teach how to summarize, many teachers still fail to enable the students to catch the main points. Therefore, this study attempts to explore the process of integrating Interactive Electronic Whiteboard into summarizing texts and the perspectives of the teacher and students in primary school. The results show that: (1) Interactive Electronic Whiteboard is helpful to increase students' concentration, participation and students' learning efficiency. (2)After integrating Interactive Electronic Whiteboard into the instruction of summarizing texts, students show great improvement on ability of summarizing texts. Finally, according the results of this research, some suggestions about integrating Interactive Electronic Whiteboard into the instruction of summarizing texts are proposed for teachers and future research.
