Teaching, Speaking & Writing Aspects of EFL to Taiwanese Students: Tips and Suggestions

The paper in question, authored by an experienced U.S. teacher, is intended as a practical tool to help local English teachers cope with different problems in teaching English Speech and Writing classes, e.g. new vocabulary introduction and drills, presentation of grammar organizing students' ideas (and its logical succession) in writing and speaking, etc.. When giving advice, the author relies heavily on his own experience, as well as on the really helpful textbooks in English Grammar and Speech, which are difficult lo choose from a pile of rubbish that the book market in Taiwan offers. The basic idea of the author's teaching method is that learning a language can be a smooth and easy path and not a hurdles race.
