運動電影之文化意涵探討

摘要

「電影」是現代社會萬象縮影，透過電影觀眾可以對於各種不同的議題，諸如種族、性別、社會、國家認同等等，去深入瞭解、探討、認知與體會，這是電影的另類功能。觀眾在觀看電影時，會透過電影中的故事、角色、台詞或道具接收到拍攝者想訴說給觀眾的意義，同樣的，觀賞運動賽事除了觀賞刺激比賽及選手表演之外，也可從現場觀眾表情、選手、教練的肢體等接收到一些關於現代職業運動的文化意義，因此，將兩者結合就產生出運動電影，是以運動為主題，利用電影的形式，傳達給觀眾一些在運動世界裡的訊息，希望使社會大眾能注意到這些存在於運動中的議題。本研究將利用文獻分析法，分析三種不同運動項目之運動電影，分別為翻滾吧!男孩、卡特教頭及九降風，希望了解電影中呈現的運動世界及電影符號背後所隱含的文化意涵。

Through movies, audience could understand different social themes, for example, racial, sexual, and national issues. When audience watched a movie, they could receive some informations from the derictor by the story, characters, or even the stage property. Similarly, watching a sports match also could get some cultural mplications from fans, athletes, and coaches' actons. So, to combine these two elements became the ”Sports Movies”. This study analyzed the literatures and three different types of sports movies, ”Jump! Boys”, ”Couch Carter”, and ”Winds of September” to understand the sports world and the cutural implications behind the symbols of the movies.
