Corporate rankings may influence the value and power of the corporate image. Most companies all pay attention to the maintenance and improvement of the corporate image, but often are passive and accept the ranking results done of the finance and economics magazine. With a view of corporate image, this paper stresses that different methods could change the ranking results of Business Weekly Top 1000 Corporate Rankings across the Taiwan Strait. Enterprises should not ignore corporate rankings that benefit to the corporate image, and have to be aggressive and to explore out the original characteristic of the company. Through creating own evaluation rule which producing beneficial rankings, enterprises must make them to be the top in order to bring out the purple cows' effect and spark the core competency.
