元代宣城貢奎行述考略

A Brief Biography of Gong Kui at Hsuan City from Yuan Dynasty

摘要

貢奎（1269-1329）自幼聰穎，及長，博綜經史，學行俱優，以學官起家，尤通禮制。他仕宦廿八年（1302-1329）期間，前後歷經六官職，政績迭有表現，有為有守，屬清官賢臣類型，也是江南儒士以學官仕進較為成功之個案事例。除政事之表現外，貢奎亦長於文學詩作。從《雲林集》所輯錄之詩篇中，可體會出其深厚之撰著功力與風格特色，其詩作可稱係聚才、學、識、情於內的具體呈現。他在公餘之暇，寄情於詩文之中，又藉「以文會友」之方式，不僅詩作功力日益精進，亦增廣了人際關係，建構了廣泛人脈，為貢氏家族後代奠下日後榮顯的重要根基。

Gong Kui （1269-1329）was clever and bright since childhood. He was also well-versed in Chinese classics and historic writings. And he was in outstanding performances of both learning and moral character. Beginning from a school official, Gong Kui was perspicuous at the rules of polite rite especially.He was specialized in administrative achievements of 28 years carrier (1302-1329) in 6 government positions. He treated everything sincerely and seriously on his effort. He was well-known as a virtuous official with honest attitude. Gong Kui was one of the successful cases that Confucians from southern area of China were qualified to get into government by the background of school official.In addition to his political achievement, Kong Kui was also specialized in writing literature and poetry. His unique writing skills and the depth of his poetry were well reflected from ”Yun-Lin Collection of Poems”. And his poetry might be so-called that was the concrete show combining together with his talent, learning, view, and sentiment.In leisure, Gong Kui always focused on literature and poetry. He also befriended many people by writing not only to improve his writing skills but to expand his inter-relationship with others. To expand his huge social relations was the important foundation of glory for Gong's posterity.
