台灣商業花椰菜品種之耐熱性評估

Evaluation of Heat Tolerance of Commercial Early Cauliflower Varieties in Taiwan

摘要


本試驗係於民國95年5~7月間,在鳳山分所試驗田區進行調查22個花椰菜品種之園藝性狀及評估其耐熱性。試驗結果顯示耐熱性早生花椰菜品種之植株較為矮小、株型直立、葉片數較少、葉片展幅較小、葉形短而細尖等特性。生育日數少於50天之早生品種對溫度很敏感,日平均溫度於28℃以上時,不但會影響其花芽分化,甚至不結花球,而耐熱品種有比較高的結球率及正常花球形成。高溫對花球發育之影響甚鉅,不耐熱品種之花球會出現綠色苞片、毛花、紫斑及鬆散等生理障礙。22個參試花椰菜品種中,在日平均溫度於27.5℃以上的試驗環境,以慶農公司之早生硬花H-37品種表現最好,仍具有早生、耐熱之特性,且正常花球率最高、花球呈淡黃色、葉片角度高且葉狹小,其他的早生品種,雖能結球,惟其花球大多呈現腋芽、綠色苞片、多毛及紫黃色等不正常球的現象。

Twenty two varieties of cauliflower from several seed companies in Taiwan were tested for their heat tolerance in the field of Fengshan Tropical Experiment Station from May to July. Different growth characteristics were investigated in this test. Due to extreme high temperature (> 28 ℃) in the filed during test period, there was 45 % of varieties failed to form curd. Furthermore, the most of varieties appeared different levels of defects including hairy, leafy and purple color appearance of most tested varieties due to extremely hot temperature in the field. The most heat tolerant variety, H-37 from Ching-Long Seed Co., showed less these defects compared to other varieties.
