A Study of R&D Network Organization for Taiwan Design Business

網絡式研發組織應用於設計事業發展之研究

摘要


從傳統經濟走向網路e經濟,在台灣加入WTO後所因應之「台灣接單、全球生產」國際分工的經營趨勢下,設計專業經營的層面也由過去的提供造形創意和解決製造上的問題,演變成為快速提供整體設計服務的分工體制,未來此種必須能提供高度創新的設計事業,孰能將「設計知識」網絡化快速連結利用,將是知識經濟下設計事業最重要的競爭優勢力量。本研究旨在以台灣中小設計企業為例,探索設計事業由組織變革所展開之「設計領導」、「網絡式研發組織」、「設計生產力」三種主要構面。研究目的:(1)瞭解設計事業目前價值鏈體系所面臨之瓶頸與組織創新面對之難題(2)探討設計事業發展網絡式研發組織之運作方式與設計活動之績效影響(3)探討網絡式組織架構與構面因素對於設計經營模式之整合性。本篇僅以相關文獻對台灣之設計事業進行經營現況探討,歸納發現並提出研究之假設;除結論所提出之發現與建議外;本研究期望能整理出國內較為完整之設計價值鏈經營模式,以提供台灣中小企業發展相關網絡式研發組織之適切性與規劃方向參考。

From the traditional economy to e-economy or knowledge economy, Taiwan will join the WTO as a member in 2001. Taiwan's business competition style will be transformed to ”take orders locally and produce globally”. This tendency will tremendously influence the international business cooperation. Design business contents will be changed from styling and manufacturing to total design solution. In the future, design business will focus on the high-level innovation. Anyone who could rapidly link and suffuse ”design knowledge” within the R&D network should be the winner in knowledge-based economy. This study focuses on the exploration of design business in Taiwan. Issues such as design leadership, R&D network organization and design productivity had been thoroughly investigated. Some purposes have achieved to better understand the value chain of design business and obstacles encountered by the design profession; to examine the feasibility of developing R&D network and its influence on design performance; and to establish a network organization structure of an integrative model. Some surveys had been conducted through questionnaires and in-depth interviews. Finally, some models are proposed for the new paradigm of design business.
