This research takes the second semester of the 108th academic year in the Department of Creative Product Design of Ling Tung University of Science and Technology. The first-year compulsory course -- painting is the research object. The content and progress arrangement of the course and the performance of the learners in the course are used as teaching practice and introspection papers, the purpose of the research is to share the teaching connotation of the painting class, as a reference for teachers in the same course. The drawing course is a compulsory course for the first-year college. Students come from different high school vocational schools and they have different basic understanding of painting. This course adopts the principle of multiple creation, mainly to keep the course difficult and challenging, so in the semester it covers several painting media and also plans several different painting themes. The research summed up 6 ways to encourage students to learn, as a reference for future teaching.
