This research takes a case study on an In-House model of the logistics company which installs its production line in an integrated circuit (IC) packaging and testing company. We adopt Lean Six Sigma with DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve, control) improving process to help the case company to improve their material distribution quality and efficiency. The practical benefits include non-value-added time reducing to 19 minutes from prior 30 minutes such that overall waste reduces 36.7%; supply cycle time reducing to 83 minutes from prior 105 minutes such that operation time reduces 21%; the efficiency of process cycle time increases 5.7%; manpower reduces to 12 workers from prior 16 workers such that it could save up to NT$ 1.3502 million on labor cost annually. Conclusively the results of this research significantly improve the operation of raw material warehouse.
