Analysis of School's H1N1 Notification Process with UML

摘要


在資訊領域中,一個好的系統規劃,往往是整個系統生命長度的主要靈魂。而在行政上,一個政策的推動常常會因各類的疏失而導致施行成效的降低或延誤。統一塑模語言(UML)是近十年來讓軟體開發產生了革命性效應的一套系統分析方法。UML是一視覺工具,能協助軟體開發人員將整個系統具象化、結構化及記錄軟體發展過程的一套系統,且能在事前降低系統開發的風險及迅速的開發新的模式。2009年中,台灣因H1N1流成的來襲,導致全國各級學校停課班級數超過1000個班級,政府雖發布停課標準,但各校施行上卻多有分歧的情況發生。本文中,我們應用UML的三張圖表來描述高雄市某國小對H1N1的行政流程。UML的描述讓整個程序變得更為清楚且容易明瞭,並能減少行政上可能的錯誤。

In the field of computer science, a well-designed system planning is the soul that secures the lifespan of the entire system. In the aspect of administration, the performance of policy implementation could be degraded or even deferred owing to all sorts of errors. Unified Modeling Language (UML) is the revolutionary analysis approach in software design in the past decade. UML is a visual tool that helps software designers visualize, structuralize, and keep records of the whole developing process of the system. It also reduces the risk in system development in advance and helps information developers build their systems fast. In 2009, Taiwan has experienced the outbreak of the H1N1 flu, and over 1000 class units in all kinds of schools have suspended their school curriculum due to H1N1. The government has declared the school suspension criteria. However, schools encountered various problems while implementing the suspension criteria. In this paper, we use UML to describe the handling process of H1N1 with three diagrams. We present a case study of a primary school in Kaohsiung City. With UML, the process becomes clearer and much easily to understand. This might reduce possible administrative errors.
