本研究目的為瞭解急重症單位護理人員執行病人安全工作壓力與因應行為之情形。研究設計採橫斷性相關性研究,採立意取樣,以某區域教學醫院114位急重症單位護理人員為研究對象,以自填結構式問卷進行資料收集,共發放120問卷,有效問卷114 份,回收率達95.0%。結果顯示:(1)執行病人安全工作壓力平均為2.3分,壓力是介於「普通」與「壓力大」間,其中以來自工作負荷和行政管理的壓力為最大;(2)因應行為平均為1.8分,採取頻率是介於「很少如此」與「有時如此」間,較常採用情緒取向的因應行為;(3)照護病人過程中曾發生病安意外事件者,其工作壓力顯著較大;(4)工作壓力總分與因應行為總分達顯著正相關。藉此研究,以瞭解急重症單位護理人員執行病人安全工作壓力與因應行為之情形,作為日後護理管理者之行政管理參考,及提供患病安全的照護品質。
Purpose of this study is to explore and understand the relationships and situations between Patient-safety- implementation-related stress and coping mechanism of the nurses working in emergency, critical and intensive care units. A cross-sectional study design with purposive sampling was used to obtain potential subjects, which including 114 nurses working in emergency and intensive care units of a regional teaching hospital. Data collections was conducted via self-structured questionnaire and a total of 120 questionnaires were circulated, and one hundred and fourteen questionnaires were returned and validated (recovery rate of 95.0%.). Significant results were as followed: (1) The average score of patient-safety- implementation-related stress is 2.3 points and it means the stress is between "ordinary" and "stressful", which mostly from the workload and administration. (2) The average score of coping behavior is 1.8 points, and the frequency is between "rarely" and "sometimes", which emotion-oriented coping mechanism and behaviors is often adapted. (3) The persons who had experienced of patient safety incidents in their past history patient care presented significantly with higher work stress. (4) It revealed significant positive correlation between work stress and coping behavior. These findings of this research help us understand the relationships and situations between Patient-safety- implementation-related stress and coping mechanism of the nurses working in emergency, critical and intensive care units, and it would be helpful for nursing administrators as a reference in planning clinical care standard and to improve the quality of care and patient safety.
