摘要


微透析是近二十年來使用於腦、器官、組織和血管中取樣化學物質的分析技術,目前微透析投術廣泛地應用於活體細胞外液空間的取樣及分析,細胞外液空間是化學物質進出細胞的管道,可以讓營養物質、代謝物、廢液、傳遞物質、賀爾蒙、藥物和毒物通過。而研究此區間的傳統技術限制於必須抽取體被樣品,因此欲探視體內之化學現象只能採用血液樣品來分析以反應體內之現象。如今使用微透析技術自體內移出化學物質而不用抽取體液且可導入化學化質以觀察反應。由微透析技術取得的樣品不僅乾淨且可以立即使用各種不同分析技術加以分析,因此微透析技術對於生物醫學和臨床研究上是非常有潛力的一種生物分析採樣技術。

Microdialysis was introduced two decades ago for sampling chemical substances from the brain, organs , tissues, and blood vessels. Today it is one of the most widely used analytical techniques for in vivo sampling of the extracellular space. The extracellular space is the compartment in the body where chemical substances travel between cells. It is the crossroad of nutrients, metabolites, waste products, transmitters, hormones, drugs and toxins. The ability to study this space has so far been limited as it is not possible to draw liquid from it. Instead, scientists have been using blood samples which may reflect the chemistry of the body. With microdialysis, there is now a way to remove chemical substance from the body without removing liquid and a way to introduce chemical substances without injecting fluid. Once removed by microdialysis, samples are already cleaned and ready to be analyzed with various analytical techniques. Today it is a new bioanalytical sampling technique with remarkable potential in basic biomedical and clinical research.
