摘 要 本文以懸浮聚合法以及總體聚合法製備聚苯乙烯-蒙脫土之奈米複合材料,其中使用TLC、CPC、2C-75以及2HT-75四種不同結構之膨潤劑所改質的膨潤土進行研究,並以XRD、TGA、硬度測試儀以及GPC觀察其混成的情況以及熱穩定性,期能將蒙脫土良好分散於聚苯乙烯之中,進而提升聚苯乙烯之等物、化性質。由研究結果顯示,帶有雙十七烷基長鏈之2HT-75膨潤土,其層間距離可達37.5Å。經過懸浮聚合之後的樣品層間距最佳可達45 Å左右,熱裂解溫度提升約25℃,硬度約有2%的提升;總體聚合後的樣品層間距最佳可達43 Å左右,熱裂解溫度提升約20℃,硬度約有12%的提升。
Abstract The Polystyrene/Clay nanocomposite was prepared by suspension polymerization and bulk polymerization. There are four kinds of swelling agent were used in this studies: TLC, CPC, 2C-75 and 2HT-75. The nanocomposite were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Thermogravimeteric Analysis (TGA), and Hardness analysis to determine the d-spacing between the clay layers, thermostability and hardness. In this study, the 2HT-75-swelling-clay sample was prepared by suspension polymerization, the d-spacing of this sample about 45Å, the thermodegradation temperature increase 25℃, and the hardness increase 2%. The sample was prepared by bulk polymerization, the d-spacing increase to 43Å, the thermodegradation temperature increase 20℃, and the hardness increase 12%.
