偏光板為液晶顯示器產業中關鍵性的零組件,其關鍵的原因在於全球偏光板產能幾乎集中在少數日系供應商手上,而偏光板的本身關鍵的光學膜、相位差板等,也同樣集中在少數的日系廠商;就偏光板產業鏈上的各家供應商而言,推測可能為維護其生產關鍵技術,因此作風都相當保守,通常不願意進行大動作改革,因此,相關的改善專案推動上較為困難。 過往偏光板產業一旦發生漏檢,就以人員訓練做為改善方向並不能有效降低漏檢,藉由本研究以探討偏光板檢驗流程,並以統計量測系統分析的手法,將分析數據進行探討漏檢的變異是來自檢驗人員或是檢驗治具的變異,並針對變異原因加以改善,研究結果顯示偏光板檢驗流程,人員訓練對一致性有提升的作用,但是正確性提高仍需依賴檢驗治具的改善。改善後整體對標準值的Kappa由0.698622提升至0.939633,大幅增加檢出正確率。而以2009投入量與採購成本為例,一年約可節省台灣廠區528,000美金的偏光板重工成本,在製造成本日益艱困的面板產業中,藉由產業、學術的合作,增加公司未來的競爭力。
Polarizer is a key component and plays an important role in LCD; however, that is because of polarizer composed by a number of variant function films, for example, like, DBEF , wide film, TAC and so on. Nevertheless, these crucial films and technologies are dominated by Japanese firms almost, and also possess the highest of marketing share in TFT-LCD field. In the past, Polarizer manufacturer always train staff when leakage had happened , but it not effective solution. Through this research, in major study the back-production process and inspection process of polarizer. With the approach of Statistical Measurement System Analysis, the variations of appraisers or equipment are be analyzed. After improvement , the value of kappa for All Appraiser vs. standard was from 0.698622 to 0.939633. It make higher accuracy to inspect Polarizer. From a view point of cost, it cost $528,000 USD to maintain base on the input quantity and cost of Polarizer in 2009. By the way of combine industry with science, It raise competitiveness of company in future.
