摘要

本論文為多媒體音樂原創作品《碎》的創作輔助文件，包括兩個部分，第一部分為 《碎》之創作理念、作品架構分析、創作素材設計與技術解說；第二部分為《碎》作品的樂譜內容。

本作品以碎形幾何圖案之科赫曲線(Koch Curve)為創作概念發想，利用其中自我相似性結構的特性帶入作品結構以及動機發展。透過綜合打擊樂器、預置電子聲響等不 同聲音媒材的組合，以及 Jitter、Quartz Composer 影像程式的撰寫，並以 Max 程式介面作為整體編排與聯結各媒材之間的橋梁，呈現出碎形概念應用於多媒體藝術領域的可能性與多元面貌。

文字部分共分為四個章節，第一章為緒論；第二章講述創作理念與背景；第三章為 作品分析；第四章作本論文之結語與自我檢視。

This thesis is a supporting paper of “Sui”, an original multimedia composition. It consists of two parts: the first part comprises the compositional incentives, conceptual process, and its media design. The second presents the musical score of “Sui”.

“Sui” is a multimedia musical composition inspired by fractal and arts, based on the geometric figure of Koch Curve. By using percussion sets, prepared electroacoustics, visuals from Jitter and Quartz Composer, integrating these elements under Max/MSP, Jitter, this piece demonstrates the concept of fractal within the domain of multimedia arts, in regards of the broad varieties and possibilities of the art.

This thesis contains four chapters. Chapter 1 is the preface. Chapter 2 discusses the compositional incentives and its backgrounds. Chapter 3 analyses the structure of “Sui”, including the development of compositional motives and techniques. Chapter 4 is the conclusion.
