Ever since the government changed the policy lot civil aviation, Taiwan's civil aviation industry has grown prosperously. Because of the shortage of pilots, the airlines began to nonmilitary personnels, and recruited foreign aviators. Under such circumstances, cultural deviations and differences become much more important in the cockpit resource management. In this article, the author first describes the basic concepts and the development of cockpit resource management, then introduces Hecht's model of culturals.
