The purpose of this research was to establish Chinese style leadership inventory. Documentary analysis was first used to set up the framework of a parent, a mentor and a monarch of the Chinese leadership roles. 36 questions were created to conduct a pilot test from 212 employees of service industries. Stratified random sampling based on four industries was introduced to get 1106 valid samples, and Cronabachs' a, factor analysis and linear structural relations model were tested on the overall reliability and validity. The result of the fitness in inventory is excellent and the Chinese style leadership inventory for service industry can be a good instrument to evaluate leadership behaviors.
