研究目的在比較不同型式團體衛生教育對精神病患在服藥知識、態度、以及門診回診率上的影響。本研究採用類實驗研究法,以配對方式將研究對象分爲三組,每組13名。第一組病患參加6次結構式團體衛生教育;第二組病患參加6次非結構式團體衛生教育;第三組爲控制組,沒有參加結構式或非結構式團體衛生教育。三組病患均參加病房中例行治療。研究結果顯示:(1)結構式和非結構式團體衛教在促進病患服藥的知識與態度上均有顯著之效果;(2)結構式團體衛教在提昇精神病患服藥知識上,較控制組有顯著之成效;(3)在門診回診率上,三組間未出現顯著性之差異。本研究結果可以提供醫護人員在照護精神病患及發展相關衛生教育計畫之參攷。
The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of different types of group education on the knowledge, attitudes, and clinical follow-up of the mentally ill. A three-group quasi-experimental design was used to study 39 patients by meshing. Subjects in the first group received 6 sessions of structured group education. In the second group, subjects received 6 sessions of non-structured group education. The third group, the control group, did not receive structured or non-structured group education. All of them received daily services in the ward. Major findings of this study were: (1) after group education, knowledge and attitudes of the structured and non-structured groups had significantly increased; (2) the effects of group education on knowledge of the structured group were better than the control group; (3) the effects on the rate of compliance to outpatient department follow up did not show significant difference. The results of this study may help medical personnel to provide better care and to develop related education programs for the mentally ill.
