本研究探討環保壓力是否會對企業綠色創新與競爭優勢帶來正向影響。研究結果發現,外部環保壓力與內部自發性環保壓力與綠色創新績效呈正相關,而且組織規模愈大或是組織惰性愈小時,外部環保壓力對於綠色創新績效的正向影響程度愈大;但是內部自發性環保壓力對於綠色創新績效的正向影響程度,不受組織規模與組織惰性所影響。本研究也發現企業的綠色創新績效與企業競爭優勢呈正相關;而且當競爭者的能力愈低或是產業成長率愈高時,綠色創新績效對於企業競爭優勢的正向影響程度愈大。由於內部自發性環保壓力是企業可以自行控制的,而且對於綠色創新績效的正向影響程度不受組織規模與組織惰性所影響,因此內部自發性環保壓力是更值得國內企業去培育與創造的。
This paper discussed whether the pressure of environmental protection was positively associated with the corporate green innovation and competitive advantages. The result showed that the external and internal pressure of environmental protection was positively correlated to the performances of green innovation. Moreover, the positive influence of the external pressure on the performances of green innovation increased when the organizational size was bigger or the organizational inertia was smaller. However, the degree of the positive impact of internal spontaneous pressure on the performances of green innovation was neither related to the organizational size or the organizational inertia. The research also finds that the green innovation performances were positively associated with the competitive advantages. When the competitor was less capable or the industry growth rate was higher, the green innovation performances would have bigger positive impact on the competitive advantages. The internal spontaneous pressure was different from the external pressure, because the former could be controlled by the businesses themselves and its positive impact on the performances of green innovation was not influenced by the organizational size and organizational inertia. Therefore, the internal spontaneous pressure was worth fostering and creating for Taiwanese businesses.
