游戲軟體中不同程度解題者之思考類型研究

A Study on Thinking Strategy between Experts and Novices of Computer Games

摘要


本研究旨在探討精手(expert)與生手(novice)在電腦遊戲中的策略思考內涵,klotski電腦幾何遊戲被選擇作爲研究工具並提供給七十六位國小學童操作。操作所需時間與所耗步驟被記錄做爲精手與生手分組之依據。之後另擇五名生手與精手再次操作並同時做有聲思考(thinkingaloud)與錄音錄影俾便進一步做談話內容分析(protocol analysis)。研究發現生手組的操作時間與操作步驟分佈比較分散,而精手與生手的最大差異則在於不同思考類型比例上的不同,也就是精手在解題遊戲中應用分析性思考的成份會比較多,相對的,生手則表現出比較多的隨機性思考。

The goal of this study is to investigate strategic thinking between experts and novices of computer games. The computer game ”Klotski” was chosen to be played by 76 elementary school students. The operating time and steps were recorded to identify expert and novice players. After wards, 5 expert players and 5 novice players were asked to play the game again and think aloud to be videotaped and protocol analyzed. The findings from above analysis showed there lation of operating time and steps were more scattered in the novice group. The most different between the expert group and the novice group is the percentage of different thinking types. The experts used more analytical thinking but the novices used more randomly thinking in the process of game playing.
