The purpose of this study was to explore the evaluation of clinical practice for nursing students. A. cross-sectional research design was used in this study. A structured questionnaire was administrated to the nursing students. Five hundred and forty-eight nursing students completed the questionnaires. The Statistical Package for the Social Science Personal Computer (SPSS-PC) was used to analyze the data which include the descriptive analysis, Pearson’s correlation, One-way ANOVA, and Independent t-test. The results were as followings: (1) The average score of the satisfaction with clinical practice was 3.33. The satisfaction with the staff was the highest (3.40). The satisfaction with ward cooperation was the lowest (3.15). (2) Among the individual items, the satisfaction with the teaching spirit of nursing staff was the highest (3.52). Nursing references al. ward was the lowest (2.91). (3) The satisfaction with clinical practice was significantly correlated with the ward equipment, nursing staff and head nurse (p<0.05). (4) The students' satisfaction with the ward equipment, nursing staff and head nurse showed positively correlated with each another. The results of this study would provide us to improve the quality of the clinical practice for nursing students.
