「高中生命科學醫學研習營」之教學成效

Curriculum Evaluation on a Life Science Medical Camp for Senior High Students

摘要


本研究目的為探討中部某醫學中心辦理「高中生命科學醫學研習營」之學習成效、課程評價及其影響因素。課程包含四個授課單元,每單元50分鐘,及二單元之實驗課程,每單元四小時。研究對象為媒體公開招募,共95人。研究者就學員上課前、後之知識測驗成績,及結訓時對課程之評價來評量教學成效。結果顯示:1.受訪者知識測驗成績均有顯著進步,其中以有關「實驗課程」進步率最為顯著。2.受訪者於知識測驗部份之答題習慣較不適應「應用、統整」階層之命題方式。3.「實驗課程」是學生們最感興趣的主題。4.受訪者對研習課程整體滿意程度大多良好。5.分析受訪者的個人特質與學習成效之關係,發現學前、學後知識測驗成績並不受受訪者之性別、就讀年級、主修課程(類組)及父母親教育程度等變相之影響。

The objective of this research was to evaluate student learning, feedback on the curriculum, and the components of a three-day program, Life Science Medical Camp for Senior High Students, held by a medical center in Taichung. The program consisted of four fifty-minute teaching units and two four-hour lab classes. A total of 95 students were recruited through public media channels. The researchers evaluated the program’s teaching achievement by comparing the student’s placement test scores before and after the class, and the students’ evaluation of the curriculum. It was found that I. Student achievement test scores improved significantly, especially in the area of lab practice. 2. The students were not used to questions emphasizing application and integration. 3. The lab course was most popular with students. 4. Students were satisfied with the contents of the program and teaching quality. 5. Analysis of correlations between student characteristics and their learning achievements indicated that there was no relationship between pre and post test scores and student variables including gender, grade, and major, as well as family variables, such as parents’ level of education.
