東部某大學2002~2005年大一學生健康檢查結果研究

The Result of Health Examination of College Freshmen from 2002 to 2005 in a University Located in the East of Taiwan

摘要


The purpose of this study was to investigate the common health problems of college freshmen, so that we could discover their diseases and manage treatments in the early stage. According to the accumulated records of health examinations, we classified students' health conditions and analyzed the differences. The result of this study can be used as a basis to promote students' health and as a foundation in hygiene education. The data was collected from the health examination records of all freshmen in a university located in the eastern side of Taiwan within the academic year from 2002 through 2005. These records include students' height, weight, body mass index, blood pressure, blood roution, urine roution, hepatitis B, SGOT, SGPT, cholesterol, triglyceride and Uric acid. Statistical methods including descriptive statistic, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance were used to analyze the data. The major findings are listed below: 1. There are significant differences between two genders in height, weight, body mass index, systolic blood pressure, SGOT, SGPT and Uric acid. In average, we've found the values of male students are higher than the values of female students. 2. Male students have higher blood pressure, more liver dysfunction, and higher uric acid, cholesterol and triglyceride than those of female students. 3. It is easier for female students to get anemia. 4. When students have higher BMI, they also have the higher SGOT, SGPT, Uric acid, and triglyceride. 5. The ratio of having positive hepatitis B surface antibody (HBsAb) decreases in the years, which shows that the decrease of the blood concentration of hepatitis B antibody.
