黑板樹容器苗生產技術之探討

Studies on the Production Techniques of Container Nursery Stock in Alstonia scholaris

摘要


本研究目的為比較田間苗與容器苗之優劣並探討容器苗在台灣應用的可行性。以黑板樹為材料,比較塑膠盆、不織布袋(美植袋和栽植袋)以及田間栽培等生產方式對苗木生長和品質的影響。試驗結果顯示:黑板樹之田間苗和不織布袋苗的土壤氧氣擴散速率偏低,以致減緩苗木的生長;而塑膠盆具有較佳的排水性和土壤氧氣擴散速率,因此塑膠盆苗較田間苗和不織布袋苗具較佳的生長表現和根系活力。黑板樹硬盆植株和軟盆植株的生育表現和苗木品質相似,但在生產過程中軟盆較易受強風吹而倒伏。

The objectives of this study were to compare the advantages and disadvantages between container grown and the field grown plants, and to evaluate the feasibility of applying nursery stock in Taiwan. The results showed that the plant of Alstonia scholaris grown in field or in fabric bag had lower soil oxygen diffusion rate (ODR) than that in plastic pot. The plastic pot had better drainage and higher ODR, so the plant grown in plastic pot had higher growth performance and root vigor than that in fabric bag grown or in field. The growth performance and nursery quality of Alstonia scholaris plants in hard pot were similar to those in soft pot. However, the plants in hard pot were more stable than those in soft pot during production time especially under windy condition.
