Maintaining high quality is the main goal of healthcare services in the 21st century, and moreover, the patient safety is the core value. A lot of researches have been conducted to investigate the relationship between the work condition and the outcomes of healthcare services as well as the patient safety. Results of the researches indicate that work condition influences both the outcomes of healthcare services and the patient safety. The main purpose of this review is to integrate the relevant evidences from the literature by using the Integrative Model of Organizational Climate as a guide. Directions for future research and clinical implications are recommended based on the evidences reviewed.
