This study examines the organizational identification, organizational commitment and job performance among volunteer organization of religious hospitals and compares the results with those of non-religious hospitals. The samples are volunteers and employees of hospitals. The study is carried out among189volunteers and183employees in three religious hospitals and two non-religious hospitals. Results of the study indicate that the organizational commitment and job performance of volunteers in non-religious hospitals is higher than that of those in religious hospitals. Different kinds of volunteers in religion hospitals show different organizational identification and commitment. Moreover, the organizational identification and commitment are related to the management methods of volunteers but religion.
